USA Visa Supporting Documents Requirements

 
  • Proof of Business Name Registration if self-employed or the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration of the company if it is a corporation.
  • Employment Certification that includes details about the employee's position, salary, and length of employment if currently employed.
  • International Credit Card Statement for the past three months, if possible.
  • Bank Certificate along with bank statements from the past three months, or a bankbook.
  • Car Registration documents from the Land Transportation Office (L.T.O.), including the Official Receipt (O.R.) and Certificate of Registration (C.R.), if they are available.
  • Land Titles if available.
  • Most recent Income Tax Return (I.T.R.) from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (B.I.R.), whether for an individual or a company.
  • Most recent Birth Certificate issued by the National Statistics Office (N.S.O.).
  • Most recent Marriage Certificate issued by the National Statistics Office (N.S.O.) on security paper (SECPA). If married.
  • Two recent Colored Photos Sized 2x2 
    • Facial Expression: Must not be smiling, showing teeth, or any exaggerated facial expressions.
    • Background: White background is required.
    • Clothing: Should contrast with the white background.
    • Quality: The photo should be polarized printed at the photo company.
    • Hair: If the person has long hair, it should be pulled back behind the ears.
    • Accessories: No accessories should be worn in the photo.
    • Composition: The photo should capture the individual from the lower breast area to the upper part of the head, ensuring that the shoulders are fully visible and not cut off.
    • Requirements: The photo must meet the requirements for both hard copy and soft copy submissions.
  • Original receipt from the bank for the NIV (Visa Fee).
  • Valid Passport and previous passports if available. Note that the valid passport must have at least six months validity before its expiration date and must have the owner's signature on the first and second biopages.
The Supporting Documents is to demonstrate your financial capability to visit the US, indicating that you have the means to support yourself economically during your stay. These documents also show that you have ties to the Philippines and intend to return after your visit, reassuring the embassy of your temporary travel intentions. By providing evidence of your financial stability and commitments in the Philippines, such as employment records, bank statements, property ownership documents, or sponsorship letters, you strengthen your case for visa approval and demonstrate your eligibility for temporary travel to the US.
